Human capital

Human capital , today is a strategic and major concern of nations. In Algeria it is even more important that the value of this resource requires review and rebuild the links between universities and industry .
This approach is not yet adopted in Algeria that the link between the university and the company is still tenuous and weak. During his time on the air the national radio chain III Belmihoub Dr. Mohamed Sherif , professor of economics and director of the National School of Management, in Algiers , said that " human capital is a crucial issue for economic development. "Guest of the editorial deplores the fact that Algeria is one out of the classical scheme of the university, but not in connection with the business world in productive systems. It will state that to meet specific needs in today's production system , there is a need for qualified skills . And continue , our country has dedicated a very large budget for training and education. Therefore we have to use and exploit these resources to provide expertise to the industry and to make the economy grow . Because what did he said , economic growth is an atmosphere and a culture when it all revolves around the education and training system . On the fiscal side , the economist said " it was enough , but we still need to maintain this focus on public expenditure on education ." I insist, he was then informed on the basic education system , because if you miss the segment teaching you will suffer the consequences . According to him, the training does not only within schools , it is also important to training in companies. Which will be at the same pace of technology advancement . Today it is urgent to create a direct line between academia and business . This relationship will allow the growth of our economy. When we are spending money in education and training externalities will be produced over a long period . He says for example that a well-trained engineer working for over 30 years. Focusing on the number of academics, he said " the fact that we have 1.2 million students , it is a good indicator for the development of human capital." He noted that , as reported by business leaders , more than 37.7% of entrepreneurs have not found the job market skills desired . While emphasizing in this context that " the Ministry of Higher Education and Training should consider the question: what form and how to train ? " " Today's university must train people that can be used in the economic system , " he says . To a question on the training map he said that the university is not suitable for this training because it is very complicated and difficult, but what is needed today is to train people who are able to adapt to the working world . Guest of the editorial lamented the fact that the number of graduates in social science courses is very high compared to the sciences. "Our economy is not producing enough jobs for the social sciences , this is why the number of unemployed youth is very high," concluded
